Nancy Packard asked me to quilt this quilt that was to be entered in the Spring Hill Quilt Show in August. Nancy used crayon painting to simulate applique with these beautiful leaves, butterflies and dragonflies. She scattered rhinestones throughout to add more pizzazz.
A beautiful quilt. The viewers thought so too and she won VIEWER'S CHOICE--1st PLACE.

That is awesome. I can't stop looking at it. I don't think I know about crayon painting. It's absolutely beautiful. Just seeing the July quilts too, and I'm amazed at the beautiful work you're all doing.
