August Quilts

Quilts, quilts and more.....what else....quilts. These are some from August. Is it September already?
This was a shop sample for Lavender Lime. We had these Martinique kits that are beautiful. This quilt is a smaller version of the kit which is 80 x 90. I love the colors.
This quilt is one of two made by Janice. The picture really doesn't show how the lime looks against the black and white fabrics. Very nice.

This is the second quilt made by Janice. A white, blue scrappy quilt. Beautiful!

I love this red and white scrappy quilt. So simple in pattern, but beautiful. Great job Carolene.

Another beauty by Joan. This is the front--great batiks.

..........and this is the back. Love those batiks.

This quilt was brought to me by a lady from Atlanta. She found these old, sweet, embroidered blocks and made them into large bedside quilt and brought it to me for quilting.
More pictures of this quilt below.

Another great quilt by Janice. She can piece them faster than I can quilt them. As usual, another
wonderful quilt.

Joan made this batik quilt from one of the kits at Lavender Lime. Very nice.

This Luv U pattern was designed by Kathy Skomp at Lavender Lime for Northcott fabrics.
I quilted it with Teddy Bears and Love, Love, Love written all around in the border.

Close up of the Teddy Bear quilt.

Kim's little embroidered baby quilt is so sweet. She put Minkee on the back and it is so soft.

The one is also made by Kim and is "The 12 days of Christmas" with all the embroidery. It's hard to see the detail of the quilting on the red fabric, but it's there.

Lana quilted this lovely Saturday Sampler quilt from a couple of years ago. Great job!!

So long til next month.
